“I wanted to thank you and Progressive Kick for your support… It could not have come at a more perfect time, as we were at the end of the campaign with very little money left, and it allowed us to have the funds necessary to pay for election day door hangers. Being a progressive candidate has its challenges especially financially, when you take stances or buck the system, or a political newcomer like myself, finding donors to support you can prove to be very difficult. My opponent was heavily funded by the video poker and the pay day lending industries … the reason I ran was because of the blatant exploitation of the people in my community by my opponent who has been in office for over thirty years who put his own interest above the interest of his constituents…

A lot of folks continue to make the mistake in believing in a top down approach to politics focusing on big federal races… progressive ideals and agendas are best laid out on the local level, because it’s here where many of the concerns that face most people are addressed… I commend you in not looking for the glory of endorsing high profile candidates but seeking out those who are making a difference one community at a time…”

Sincerely,

Marcus Brandon
